Residential Property Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and proactive Residential Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties in and around Milton Keynes . This hands-on role involves managing all aspects of property operations, from tenant relations and rent collection to maintenance and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will be the key point of contact for both landlords and tenants, striving to provide exceptional service and maintain high occupancy rates. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth and profitable management of our client's real estate assets in Buckinghamshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring optimal performance.
• Oversee tenant screening, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out processes.
• Handle rent collection, manage arrears, and process payments promptly.
• Coordinate and oversee property maintenance, repairs, and inspections, liaising with contractors.
• Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and resolve disputes effectively and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant housing laws and regulations in the UK .

Requirements

• Experience in property management or a related field within the real estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and property management best practices.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective landlord and tenant relations.
• Ability to manage a demanding workload and respond to emergencies promptly.
