About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised Residential Property Manager to oversee their portfolio of rental properties in Plymouth . This role involves managing all aspects of property lettings, from tenant acquisition and screening to maintenance and rent collection. You will be the primary point of contact for both landlords and tenants, ensuring smooth operations and high levels of satisfaction. The position requires strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of the Devon rental market, working within a hybrid model that balances office-based tasks with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and tenanted.
• Oversee the tenant application process, including referencing, credit checks, and lease agreement preparation.
• Conduct property viewings and manage the onboarding of new tenants.
• Handle tenant inquiries, resolve disputes, and manage eviction processes if necessary.
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors and ensuring timely completion.
• Manage rent collection, arrears, and prepare financial statements for landlords.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential property management or lettings.
• Solid understanding of the Plymouth and surrounding Devon rental market and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for property inspections.
