A Great Opportunity for an Experienced Residential Property Solicitor
Looking for a role where you can take ownership of your caseload, build strong client relationships and be part of a supportive residential property team?
An established and growing legal team in Coventry is looking to welcome an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to its busy conveyancing department.
This is an opportunity to join a team where you'll have the autonomy to manage your own matters while having the support of experienced colleagues around you. You'll work across a varied residential property caseload and play an important role in delivering a high-quality service to clients.
If you're looking for a move where you can develop your career, have genuine responsibility and join a friendly working environment, this could be well worth a conversation.
The Role
You'll manage your own caseload from initial instruction through to completion, dealing with a broad range of residential property matters including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- New-build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Contracts, transfers and associated legal documentation
- Providing advice and guidance to clients throughout their transactions
- Managing deadlines, correspondence and your own diary
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client files
- Dealing with enquiries and preparing quotations
- Building lasting client relationships and contributing to new business opportunities
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your client relationships and become a valued member of an established residential property team, rather than simply being another fee earner working through files.
What We're Looking For
We’re keen to speak with Residential Property Solicitors with previous PQE experience who are confident managing their own caseload.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Previous experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload.
- A strong understanding of residential property law and practice.
- Experience across freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Knowledge of CQS requirements.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage your workload effectively and work to deadlines.
- A professional, approachable and proactive manner.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with clients and wants to become part of a supportive team.
What's on Offer?
The role comes with a strong benefits package, including:
- 23 days' annual leave + your birthday off
- Holiday entitlement increases with service
- Private healthcare after successful completion of probation
- Pension scheme
- On-site parking
- Training funding and professional development support
- Free or subsidised legal fees
- Company sick pay
- Cycle to work scheme
- Eyecare vouchers
- Flu jab voucher
- Long service awards
- Refer a friend scheme
- Dress for your day
