About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Residential Property Surveyor to join their established practice in Sunderland . In this vital role, you will conduct thorough surveys on a wide range of residential properties, providing essential reports for homebuyers, sellers, and investors. Your expertise will help clients make informed decisions about property transactions, identify potential issues, and ensure they understand the condition and value of their property in the Sunderland area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive building surveys, including HomeBuyer Reports and Building Surveys, for various property types.
• Identify structural defects, potential hazards, and areas requiring attention or repair.
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate survey reports with photographic evidence.
• Advise clients on the condition of properties and recommend appropriate courses of action.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, and legal professionals to discuss survey findings.
• Ensure all surveys are conducted in compliance with RICS standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Qualified Property Surveyor with RICS accreditation or equivalent.
• Proven experience in undertaking residential building surveys and report writing.
• Strong knowledge of building construction, regulations, and common property defects.
• Excellent observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in relevant surveying software and digital reporting tools.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the Sunderland region.
