Residential Property Valuer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and qualified Residential Property Valuer to join their expanding remote team. You will be responsible for accurately assessing the market value of residential properties across the Leeds area and beyond, providing essential reports for mortgage lending, sales, and lettings. This role demands excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of the local housing market, and the ability to work autonomously. You will play a key role in ensuring fair and accurate valuations, supporting clients throughout the property transaction process from your home base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical inspections of residential properties to assess their condition, features, and market comparability.
• Prepare detailed and accurate property valuation reports for a variety of purposes, including mortgage, probate, and RICS Red Book valuations.
• Research and analyze local market data, including recent sales, comparable properties, and current market trends in Leeds .
• Adhere strictly to industry standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements for property valuation.
• Communicate valuation findings and reports clearly and professionally to clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate or Fellow membership of the RICS (AssocRICS or MRICS) or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience as a Residential Property Valuer .
• Proficiency in using valuation software and tools.
• Sound knowledge of the Leeds residential property market and surrounding areas.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
