Residential Support Worker

About the Role

Our client is looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join their team in Oxford . This role focuses on providing high-quality care and support to individuals residing in a residential setting, helping them to live as independently and fulfilling lives as possible. You will be instrumental in creating a positive, safe, and nurturing environment, assisting residents with daily living activities, and promoting their social and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management.
• Support residents in participating in daily activities, hobbies, and social outings.
• Develop and maintain positive, supportive relationships with residents.
• Monitor residents' well-being, report any changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care or support role within a residential setting is preferred.
• Genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals and promote their independence.
• Good communication and listening skills, with patience and empathy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care) are beneficial for working in Oxford .
