Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and eating, in a way that promotes their independence and dignity.
• Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the senior care staff and management.
• Engage residents in a variety of activities, both in-house and within the community, to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, observations, and any incidents.
• Ensure the residential environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents and visitors in Hampshire .
• Support residents in managing their medication as per care plans and established protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care setting, such as a care home or supported living environment, is preferred.
• A genuine passion for providing care and supporting vulnerable adults.
• Good communication and listening skills, with an empathetic and patient approach.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow care plans accurately.
• Willingness to undertake further training and development within the social care field.
