Residential Support Worker

Our client requires a motivated and caring Residential Support Worker to join their team in a residential setting in Stoke-on-Trent . Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and privacy.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and the use of aids to promote independence.
• Help residents with meal preparation and ensure adequate nutrition and hydration.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and in line with care plans.
• Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing and management staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interaction to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a residential care setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a kind and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within a care environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and alternate holidays.
• A genuine desire to provide excellent care and support to vulnerable adults.
