Residential Support Worker

About the Role

Our client is seeking caring and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join their team in Cardiff . Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to residents with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and domestic tasks.

• Support residents in engaging in meaningful activities, hobbies, and community outings tailored to their interests.
• Promote independence and encourage residents to make choices about their lives and care.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar support worker role, particularly with individuals with learning disabilities or autism, is highly advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 2 or 3) are preferred.
• Excellent communication, observational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-in duties.
