We are excited to be recruiting for our brand-new children's residential home, Applewood Lodge, and are looking for compassionate, resilient and motivated Residential Support Workers to join our growing team.

What You'll Be Working

We have Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available on both Days and Waking Nights.

37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)

Rolling rota to promote fairness across the team

Working across a 7-day rota, including alternate weekends

Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the home

What You'll Be Doing

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Provide therapeutic, trauma-informed care and support.
• Assist with daily routines, personal care (where required), mealtimes and household responsibilities.
• Support children to attend education, appointments and community activities.
• Encourage independence and help young people develop life skills.
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour through nurturing relationships.
• Safeguard children and always promote their welfare.
• Work collaboratively with families and multi-agency professionals.
• Complete accurate daily records, reports and care documentation.
• Communicate effectively with Team Leaders and Management to ensure continuity of care.
