Our client is looking for dedicated and caring Residential Support Workers to join their team in Plymouth . This role involves providing high-quality personal care and support to residents within a residential setting, helping them to live as independently as possible. You will assist with daily living activities, promote social interaction, and ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all residents. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and continence care, maintaining dignity and respect.
- Support residents with meal times, ensuring nutritional needs are met and providing assistance as required.
- Help residents to engage in social activities and maintain connections with family and friends.
- Monitor residents' well-being, reporting any changes in their physical or emotional state to the management team.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Administer medication in accordance with company policies and training provided.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in residential care, is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions accurately.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to undertake required training, including NVQ/QCF qualifications in Health and Social Care.
