You will assist residents with daily living activities, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, in a respectful and sensitive manner.
• Assist with household tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
• Encourage and support residents in engaging in social activities, hobbies, and outings, fostering a sense of community and purpose.
• Monitor residents' well-being, observing any changes in physical or mental health, and report concerns to the senior care staff or management promptly.
• Administer medication as prescribed and in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team, building positive and trusting relationships.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care setting, particularly with older adults or those with specific needs, is highly beneficial.
• A genuine passion for helping others and a strong sense of empathy and compassion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with residents.
• Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable adults and a commitment to promoting their rights and dignity.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as per the rota.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training and achieve relevant qualifications in health and social care.
