Job Description
SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary Resource Base Birmingham B8 | September 2026 | £95–£115 per day | 8:30am–3:30pm
An opportunity for an experienced SEN TA to join a supportive primary Resource Base, working with pupils with additional and complex needs including ASC and communication needs. You'll provide personalised support, help deliver interventions and work closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team. You will gain valuable experience within specialist SEN provision and work alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals.
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs Supporting children with Autism in a specialised Resource Base Delivering interventions and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs Encouraging confidence, independence and positive engagement in learning Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff to ensure every child reaches their potential
We're Looking For:
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant experience Previous experience working with children within a UK Primary School Experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly Autism (highly desirable) A patient, resilient and caring approach A genuine passion for helping children succeed
