About the Role
Our client, a dynamic recruitment consultancy in Portsmouth , is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Resourcer to join their team. In this critical role, you will be the engine for talent identification, focusing on proactively sourcing and engaging high-quality candidates for a wide array of client vacancies. This position embraces a hybrid work model, combining essential in-office collaboration in Portsmouth with the flexibility of remote working, ensuring you are well-connected to both the team and the local talent market in Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source candidates through various channels including online job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess suitability and gather essential information.
- Maintain and update the candidate database (ATS) with accurate and detailed information.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and recruitment consultants.
- Engage with candidates to build rapport and promote client opportunities effectively.
- Support the recruitment team by managing candidate pipelines and providing market intelligence.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a resourcing, candidate sourcing, or recruitment support role is essential.
- Proficiency in using online sourcing tools and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective for both in-person and remote interactions.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team environment.
- Familiarity with the Portsmouth or wider Hampshire recruitment landscape is advantageous.
