Retail & Commercial Sales Manager – Specialist Door & Window Manufacturer
Location: Norwich (primarily office/showroom based) with travel to show sites across Essex and London.
The Opportunity
An established, market-leading specialist door and window manufacturer is seeking an experienced Retail & Commercial Sales Manager to lead and grow its sales function.
This is a senior leadership position offering the opportunity to shape the company's commercial strategy, develop high-performing sales teams, and become a key member of the management team. Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a clear, data-driven sales strategy aligned with business objectives.

Lead, coach, and motivate the retail and commercial sales teams to achieve ambitious sales and conversion targets.

Oversee the full sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, structured follow-up, and consistent conversion performance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, developers, contractors, trade partners, and repeat customers.
*
Support and attend national exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events.

Promote the company's specialist product range, ensuring its unique benefits are effectively communicated across all sales activity.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.

Produce clear commercial reports, providing insight into performance, opportunities, and future growth.
About You

Proven sales management experience within the construction, glazing, fenestration, or architectural products sector.
*
Strong commercial awareness with a demonstrable record of delivering revenue growth.
*
Experienced in leading, developing, and inspiring successful sales teams.
*
Confident presenting premium products to architects, developers, contractors, and discerning retail customers.
*
Technically minded, with the ability to understand and communicate the benefits of specialist door and window systems.
