About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning services for high-profile retail outlets in Edinburgh . This position requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of cleaning staff, ensure exceptional presentation standards for retail environments, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers by maintaining immaculate premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of retail cleaning staff to deliver high-quality services.
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules tailored to the operational needs of retail stores.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation are met.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures, including COSHH, within the cleaning team.
• Liaise with retail store managers to address cleaning concerns and ensure client satisfaction in Edinburgh .

Requirements

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within the cleaning industry, ideally in retail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment relevant to retail environments.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
