About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and commercially minded Retail Design Architect to join their vibrant team in Reading . This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. You will be instrumental in developing innovative and engaging retail environments that enhance brand identity and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of retail trends, and the ability to translate client briefs into visually appealing and functional commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop architectural plans for retail spaces, including shop-fits, showrooms, and flagship stores.
- Create compelling 3D visualizations and concept designs that align with brand aesthetics.
- Collaborate with clients, marketing teams, and contractors to ensure design vision is realized.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Manage project documentation, specifications, and procurement processes for retail fit-outs.
- Stay updated on the latest retail design trends, materials, and technologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design with a focus on commercial spaces.
- Proven experience in retail architecture or commercial interior design.
- Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of branding, customer journey, and merchandising principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
