About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and proactive Retail Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations and support the sales team at their Derby location. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience, managing the sales floor, and assisting customers with their needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of retail operations. You will play a key role in driving sales performance and maintaining high standards of service and presentation within the store in Derby .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate the retail sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service across the sales floor.
• Manage stock levels, including replenishment, visual merchandising, and stocktakes.
• Assist with staff training, development, and performance monitoring.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
• Oversee store opening and closing procedures, ensuring security and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or team leader role.
