Retail Merchandising Assistant

About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and visually oriented Retail Merchandising Assistant to support the visual merchandising team at their store in Nottingham . This role involves assisting in the creation and maintenance of attractive product displays and store layouts to enhance the customer shopping experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that merchandise is presented effectively, keeping displays tidy, and supporting the implementation of promotional campaigns. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in retail presentation and visual design.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining visually appealing product displays according to merchandising guidelines.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately priced, ticketed, and presented neatly on shelves and fixtures.
• Replenish stock on the shop floor as needed to maintain full displays.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and inviting for customers.
• Support the implementation of seasonal promotions and marketing campaigns through visual presentation.
• Provide assistance to the Visual Merchandiser and store management team as required in Nottingham .

Requirements

• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weight, and perform tasks such as climbing ladders.
• Enthusiasm for retail and visual presentation.
