Retail Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Retail Operations Coordinator to support their retail management team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily retail operations. You will assist with inventory management, process optimization, and staff support, bridging the gap between administrative tasks and frontline retail execution. This hybrid position allows for focused work in the office and flexibility to manage tasks remotely, contributing to a dynamic and responsive operational framework that keeps the business running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing inventory levels, including stocktakes, ordering, and discrepancy resolution.
• Support the implementation of new operational procedures and policies across retail locations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Provide administrative support to the retail management team, including scheduling and reporting.
• Monitor store operational performance and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Assist in training and onboarding new retail staff on operational procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an operations support or administrative role, preferably within retail.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a hybrid work environment.
