About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organised Retail Operations Coordinator to support their retail activities in Oxford . This role is vital for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of store operations, managing inventory, and supporting the wider retail team. While you will spend time in the Oxford store to oversee certain operational aspects and liaise with staff, this position also offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for remote management of administrative duties and data analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inventory levels, including stocktakes, ordering, and stock rotation to optimise availability.
• Oversee the efficient flow of goods into and out of the store, ensuring accuracy in records.
• Implement and monitor store operational procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety standards.
• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with staff scheduling and training coordination.
• Analyse sales data and operational reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, potentially performing these tasks remotely.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party service providers related to store operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a retail operations, stock management, or administrative role, preferably within a retail setting.
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and standard office productivity suites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with store staff and external parties.
• Ability to work both independently (for remote tasks) and collaboratively in a team environment (in-store).
• Flexibility to work within the hybrid model, attending the Oxford store as needed.
