About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and efficient Retail Operations Coordinator to join their team, supporting store operations from their Reading base with a hybrid work model. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth running of retail activities, focusing on inventory management, supply chain coordination, and supporting store teams with operational queries. You will play a crucial part in maintaining efficiency and effectiveness across the retail network, contributing to a seamless customer experience and profitable business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inventory levels across multiple retail locations, ensuring stock accuracy and availability.
• Support the supply chain process, liaising with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide remote and on-site operational support to retail store staff, addressing queries related to systems, stock, and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of new operational procedures and systems within the retail stores.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and contribute to reports that identify areas for improvement.
• Manage store ordering systems and ensure compliance with operational guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail operations, administration, or a similar coordination role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to adapt to a hybrid working environment, balancing office-based duties with remote work.
• A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail in operational processes within Reading .
