Our client is looking for a motivated Retail Operations Manager to join their team in Coventry, West Midlands . This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of their retail stores. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing store performance, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the customer experience. The successful candidate will be adept at managing multi-site operations and possess a deep understanding of retail dynamics, ensuring brand standards are consistently met and exceeded across all locations in the Coventry area and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple retail stores, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and visual standards to maximize product appeal and sales.
• Recruit, train, and manage store staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on store performance to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Operations Manager or in a similar senior retail management role.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems.
• Flexibility to travel to different store locations as needed.
