Retail Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee and enhance their retail presence in Coventry . This role involves a blend of strategic planning and hands-on management, focusing on operational efficiency, team performance, and customer satisfaction across multiple store locations. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, implementing best practices, and driving profitability within the retail environment. The role offers a hybrid working model, providing a balance between in-office strategic work and on-site operational oversight in the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily retail operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase sales performance.
• Lead, train, and motivate store teams to achieve targets and foster a positive work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, and ensure effective merchandising across all stores.
• Analyze sales data and operational metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and retail best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with a strong understanding of store operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop large teams in a retail setting.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and budget control.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office Suite.
