About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operational efficiency of multiple retail locations in and around Birmingham . This hybrid role offers a blend of on-site engagement and remote work, providing strategic oversight and ensuring consistent brand standards across all stores. You will be responsible for managing budgets, improving store performance, and implementing innovative operational strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability. This position is key to maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence within the competitive retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business objectives and enhance store performance.
• Manage store budgets, P&L, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and supply chain logistics to minimize waste and maximize availability.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations across all retail sites.
• Lead and develop store management teams, fostering a culture of high performance and excellent customer service.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Operations Manager or in a similar senior retail management role.
• Demonstrable experience in budget management, P&L responsibility, and operational planning.
• Strong understanding of retail inventory management systems and supply chain principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel between store locations and work effectively in a hybrid model.
• Experience in optimizing store layouts and customer flow for enhanced shopping experiences.
