About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and efficient Retail Operations Specialist to join their team in Edinburgh . This role focuses on optimizing the day-to-day running of the retail operations, bridging the gap between store-level execution and strategic planning, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth inventory management, implementing operational policies, and supporting store teams to achieve efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve inventory management processes, including stock counts and replenishment strategies.
• Ensure efficient implementation of operational policies and procedures across all retail locations.
• Support store teams with operational challenges, providing guidance and solutions.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the planning and execution of store openings, remodels, or seasonal initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and marketing, on operational matters.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail operations , logistics, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and retail operational best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, managing tasks both on-site and remotely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with retail management software.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
