About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of their store in Oxford . This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting the management team. You will be responsible for aspects such as stock flow, store presentation, and team support, ensuring the store operates at its best. This hybrid position allows for strategic oversight and hands-on contribution to the store's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage stock intake, processing, and merchandising to maintain optimal stock levels and presentation.
• Ensure the store environment is clean, safe, and visually appealing to customers.
• Support the Store Manager in training and motivating the retail team, fostering a positive work culture.
• Oversee cash handling procedures and till reconciliations.
• Act as a key point of contact for operational queries and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or operational role.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, including stock management and visual merchandising.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including some weekends and evenings.
• Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software.
