About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Retail Operations Supervisor to support the management team at their busy store in Manchester . This role focuses on ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the store, with a particular emphasis on stock management, visual merchandising, and team support. You will work closely with store leadership to implement operational standards and contribute to achieving sales and service targets. This hybrid role offers a mix of in-store responsibilities and the potential for some remote coordination, providing a dynamic work experience within the vibrant retail landscape of Manchester .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee stockroom operations, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to create an appealing and engaging store environment.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts, and minimizing shrinkage.
- Support the store team by providing guidance, addressing operational queries, and ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Monitor store performance metrics and report on operational efficiency to store management.
- Ensure the store adheres to all health, safety, and security policies, maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers in Manchester .
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail operations, stock management, or visual merchandising.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with retail inventory systems and POS systems is advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, including some weekend shifts as needed in Manchester .
