About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Advisor to join their team in Derby . As a key member of the sales floor, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and helping them find the perfect products. Your role will involve driving sales through excellent product knowledge and outstanding customer service, contributing to a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and proactively engage them on the sales floor.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations based on customer needs and product knowledge.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system .
• Maintain the presentation of the sales floor, including stocking shelves and ensuring visual merchandising standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for customer service and sales.
• Ability to learn product information quickly and effectively.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and some evenings, in Derby .
• A positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
