About the Role

Our client is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join their vibrant team in Oxford . You will be the frontline representative of the brand, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining store standards. This role is fundamental to creating a positive shopping experience and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them towards suitable products, contributing directly to the store's success and upholding the company's reputation for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and assistance.
Drive sales by understanding customer needs, recommending products, and closing sales.
Maintain visual merchandising standards on the sales floor, ensuring products are attractively displayed and well-organized.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving stock, replenishing shelves, and conducting stock counts.
Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting colleagues and assisting with store operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for customer service and creating positive interactions.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
Basic understanding of sales principles and product knowledge acquisition.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by the retail schedule.
