Retail Shift Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Retail Shift Supervisor to oversee store operations during their assigned shifts in Sheffield . You will be responsible for leading the store team, ensuring excellent customer service, managing daily sales, and maintaining store standards. This role is ideal for an individual with prior retail experience looking to step into a supervisory position and gain further leadership skills. You will play a critical role in the daily success of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the retail team during assigned shifts, ensuring high levels of productivity and morale.
• Supervise daily sales activities, including cash handling, transaction processing, and end-of-day reporting.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times, addressing customer needs and resolving issues effectively.
• Maintain store presentation standards, including cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising.
• Manage inventory tasks during shifts, such as receiving shipments and replenishing stock on the sales floor.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail environment, with some experience in a senior or supervisory capacity preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle responsibility and make sound decisions during shifts.
• Familiarity with retail POS systems and basic inventory management.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, in Sheffield .
