About the Role

Our client requires a highly organized and proactive Retail Stock Controller for their busy store located in Belfast . This role is vital for ensuring efficient inventory management, minimizing stock discrepancies, and supporting smooth operational flow. You will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, managing deliveries, and conducting regular stocktakes to maintain accuracy. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory control processes within a retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, dispatch, and stock adjustments.
• Conduct regular stocktakes (cycle counts and full inventory checks) and reconcile discrepancies.
• Oversee the efficient receiving and processing of all incoming stock deliveries.
• Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
• Implement and adhere to stock control procedures to prevent loss and damage.
• Liaise with the sales team and management regarding stock availability and replenishment needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a stock control , inventory management, or warehouse role within retail.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and POS systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to stock handling and movement.
• Strong understanding of stock control principles and best practices.
• Reliable and able to work independently to meet deadlines in Belfast .
