Retail Stock Controller

About the Role

Our client requires a detail-oriented and organized Retail Stock Controller to manage inventory levels and ensure the smooth flow of stock within their busy store in Glasgow . You will be responsible for accurate stocktaking, managing deliveries, and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet customer demand. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient store operations and minimizing stock discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Receive, process, and record incoming deliveries, checking for damages or discrepancies.
• Manage stockroom organization and ensure efficient use of space.
• Process stock transfers and returns accurately.
• Liaise with the sales floor team to ensure stock availability and support merchandising efforts.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a stock control, warehouse, or inventory management role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software or POS systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
