About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and results-oriented Retail Store Manager to lead their flagship store in Cardiff . You will be responsible for all aspects of store operations, including driving sales, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining store standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership qualities and a passion for retail. You will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging shopping experience for every customer and fostering a motivated and high-performing team within a busy high street environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability by implementing effective sales strategies and promotions.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage store staff to ensure optimal performance and customer service levels.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and overall presentation.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and conduct regular stocktakes to minimize shrinkage and ensure product availability.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving store targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems.
