About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Retail Supervisor to support the management team in their store located in Reading . You will play a key role in overseeing daily retail operations, motivating the sales team, and ensuring a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and guide retail staff, providing training and support to ensure performance targets are met.
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee stock management, including receiving, replenishment, and ensuring accurate inventory counts.
• Implement visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is well-presented and appealing.
• Contribute to sales efforts by actively engaging with customers and promoting products.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within retail.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and sales techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management.
