About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Visual Merchandiser to enhance the in-store presentation of their brand in Cardiff . You will be responsible for creating compelling visual displays that attract customers, showcase products effectively, and align with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, an understanding of retail trends, and the ability to translate brand concepts into engaging in-store experiences. You will work closely with store teams to ensure visual standards are maintained consistently across the territory, contributing directly to the overall customer journey and brand perception.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement captivating window and in-store displays according to brand directives and marketing calendars.
Ensure all visual merchandising standards, including product placement, signage, and lighting, are met.
Collaborate with store managers and staff to maintain the aesthetic integrity of the store environment.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to propose innovative merchandising solutions.
Manage and maintain visual merchandising props, fixtures, and display materials.
Train store staff on visual merchandising principles and execution.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the retail sector.
Strong artistic and design skills with a portfolio showcasing creative displays.
Excellent understanding of colour theory, spatial arrangement, and brand aesthetics.
Ability to interpret and execute visual merchandising guidelines.
Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
