About the Role

A prestigious architectural practice in Manchester is looking for a motivated and talented RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant to join their growing team. You will support the design and delivery process on a variety of exciting projects, gaining invaluable experience under the guidance of chartered architects. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs, from conceptual sketches to detailed construction drawings.
• Prepare presentation materials, including 3D models, renders, and drawings for client meetings.
• Support the preparation of planning applications and building regulations submissions.
• Undertake site visits to observe construction progress and document site conditions.
• Collaborate with the wider project team, including engineers and consultants, to ensure coordinated design information.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a RIBA-accredited Part II Architecture course.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion).
• Good understanding of UK planning policies and building regulations.
• Strong graphic communication skills and a keen eye for design detail.
