About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and talented RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant to join their expanding studio in Cardiff . This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to gain hands-on experience across all project stages, from concept design through to detailed construction information. You will work closely with senior architects and technologists, contributing to the development of innovative designs and technical solutions for a variety of exciting projects across Wales .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs and the preparation of design drawings and models.
• Support the production of technical documentation, including planning applications and building regulation submissions.
• Utilise Revit and other design software to create detailed drawings and BIM models.
• Participate in design team meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and assist with site queries.

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized RIBA Part II qualification.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• A strong understanding of architectural design principles and UK planning and building regulations.
• Excellent visual and graphic communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within a supportive team environment.
