About the Role

Our client, a growing architectural studio in Sunderland , is looking for a motivated RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging talent to gain practical experience across a variety of project types, including residential, commercial, and heritage restorations. You will support the senior architectural team in all stages of the design process, from initial concept design through to detailed technical drawings and site supervision. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, models, and presentations using design software.
• Support the design team in developing design concepts and exploring creative solutions.
• Undertake site visits to gather information and assist in monitoring construction progress.
• Prepare documentation for planning applications and building regulations submissions.
• Conduct research on materials, specifications, and construction methods.
• Contribute to project meetings and assist with client liaison under supervision.

Requirements

• Completed RIBA Part II or equivalent architectural qualification.
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and technical ability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of UK planning and building regulations.
• Enthusiasm for architectural design and a willingness to learn.
