Risk Analyst - Credit Risk

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and validate credit risk models and methodologies.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to assess the credit risk of clients and investments.
• Monitor existing credit exposures and identify potential areas of concern or default.
• Prepare risk reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and risk committees.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with front-office teams to manage credit limits and structures effectively.
• Contribute to stress testing and scenario analysis exercises.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, or a related quantitative role.
• Strong understanding of credit risk principles, financial markets, and derivative instruments.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative modeling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts.
