About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Risk Analyst to join their finance and risk management team in Leeds . This role is critical in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across the organization's operations and financial activities. You will be responsible for developing risk models, analyzing data trends, and providing actionable insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions and safeguard the company's assets. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk assessments across various business units.
• Develop and maintain risk models, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk frameworks.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive risk reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of risk mitigation strategies and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in risk analysis or financial modeling within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
