The Role
As a Road Freight Operator, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day movement of import and export shipments across Europe, ensuring customers receive a seamless service from collection through to final delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating European road freight import and export shipments
- Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas partners and drivers
- Booking collections and deliveries
- Monitoring shipments and providing regular customer updates
- Completing operational documentation and customs-related paperwork where required
- Resolving operational issues quickly and professionallyBuilding strong relationships with customers and transport partners
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in European road freight operations
- Knowledge of both import and export processes
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
- A proactive approach and excellent attention to detail
- Customs knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
