Robot & Automation Engineer
£48,000 - £55,000 per year | Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Robot & Automation Engineer to join a skilled engineering team delivering robotic and automated assembly solutions for automotive and industrial projects.
This is a hands-on role covering robot programming, offline simulation, automation setup, commissioning and customer-site installation.
Key responsibilities
* Program, set up and commission industrial robots and automation equipment.
* Create offline robot programs and support simulated layouts.
* Integrate hardware including weld equipment, vision systems, sealant and gluing systems.
* Support build, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and handover.
About you
* Experience with industrial robot programming, ideally ABB and/or Fanuc.
* Confident with robot setup, EIO programming and hardware integration.
* Experience in automated assembly environments.
* Kuka, Yaskawa or Siemens TIA Portal experience would be advantageous.
