About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Robotics Engineer with a strong focus on AI to join their innovative team in Oxford . You will be at the forefront of developing intelligent robotic systems, integrating advanced AI algorithms for perception, decision-making, and control. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI algorithms for robot perception, navigation, and manipulation.
- Integrate machine learning models (e.g., for computer vision, path planning) into robotic systems.
- Develop and test robotic software using ROS (Robot Operating System) and related tools.
- Conduct simulations and real-world experiments to validate and refine robotic system performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an AI specialization.
- Proven experience in robotics development, with a focus on AI/ML integration.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, and experience with ROS.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
- Experience with robot simulation environments and sensor integration.
