About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Robotics Engineer with expertise in AI integration to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is central to developing intelligent robotic systems that can perceive, reason, and act autonomously in dynamic environments. You will be responsible for integrating AI algorithms, such as machine learning and computer vision, into robotic platforms, enhancing their capabilities and enabling new functionalities. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about the intersection of robotics and artificial intelligence, contributing to advancements in automation and intelligent systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate AI algorithms into robotic systems.
- Implement and optimize machine learning models for robot perception and control.
- Develop algorithms for robot navigation, manipulation, and human-robot interaction.
- Work with robotic simulation environments and conduct hardware testing.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex robotics and AI systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in robotics development, with a focus on AI integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Understanding of sensor fusion, path planning, and control systems.
- Familiarity with computer vision techniques for robotics is a strong plus.
