About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Robotics Technician to join their innovative team in Derby . This role is central to the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission new robotic systems and associated peripherals.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on robotic arms, controllers, and end-effectors.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues affecting robotic system performance.
• Program and modify robot movements and sequences for various production tasks.
• Ensure all robotic systems operate safely and comply with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize robotic processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Robotics Technician or in a related automation role.
• Strong understanding of industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB), PLCs, and control systems.
• Proficiency in robot programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems commonly found in automated manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
