Roller Shutter Doors - Package Manager

A leading Tier 1 construction team is seeking an experienced Roller Shutter Doors Package Manager to take ownership of a specialist package on a major new indoor entertainment venue in Cardiff.

The development will deliver a 16,500-capacity venue within a major waterfront regeneration scheme, creating one of the city's most significant new destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the roller shutter door subcontractor through to completion
• Coordinate technical design, specifications, drawings and approvals
• Manage programme, procurement and delivery
• Coordinate interfaces with architectural, structural, MEP and fire packages
• Monitor subcontractor progress and performance
• Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and snagging
• Support commercial management, variations and change control
• Coordinate with Design, Commercial, Construction and Project Management teams
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and programme requirements

About You

• Experience managing roller shutter, specialist door or architectural door packages
• Previous Tier 1/main contractor experience is essential
• Experience on major commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, transport or infrastructure projects
• Strong technical coordination and subcontractor management skills
• Good programme and construction interface knowledge
• Strong commercial awareness
• CSCS and SMSTS, or equivalent

Experience with fire-rated, security-rated or electrically operated shutter and door systems would be advantageous.

Specialist subcontractor-only backgrounds will not be considered.
