Roofing Estimator

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Roofing Estimator to join a well-established and growing roofing contractor.

This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an estimator with a strong understanding of the roofing industry who can confidently price and manage tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.

The role will include:

• Preparing accurate estimates and quotations for roofing projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Producing material and labour take-offs
• Obtaining and comparing supplier/subcontractor quotations
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and the wider contracts team
• Identifying potential risks, variations and value-engineering opportunities
• Managing multiple tenders and deadlines

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous estimating experience within the roofing sector
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials and installation methods
• Excellent numerical and commercial awareness
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good IT skills and experience with estimating software would be advantageous

💷 Salary: £50,000 per annum 📅 Permanent position
