RPG Developer

• Support and maintain core iPlus applications, investigating issues, implementing fixes, and ensuring services remain stable and reliable
• Develop and deliver improvements to existing applications, helping to optimise processes and meet evolving business requirements
• Analyse application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions while minimising business disruption
• Work with testing and business teams to ensure changes are thoroughly validated and delivered to a high standard
• Work closely with business stakeholders, support teams, and technical colleagues to ensure the continued success of the iPlus platform

Requirements

• Excellent RPG skills
• Proficiency in languages commonly used on IBM Power systems, such as RPG and CL
• Strong knowledge of RPG, CL and IBM i development practices
• Experience diagnosing and resolving issues within complex business-critical applications
• Experience with i90/iPlus is advantageous
• Familiarity with IBM i tools and technologies, including IBM Navigator for i, job management, performance analysis, and application support activities
• Continuous Improvement Mindset
