Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead and expand their sales operations within the FMCG sector across Belfast and surrounding regions. You will be responsible for setting sales targets, devising sales strategies, and ensuring the effective execution of sales plans to achieve ambitious business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the FMCG portfolio.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the regional sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring individual development.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and product offerings.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure alignment and drive commercial success.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in sales leadership , with a strong background in the FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving ambitious sales targets and growing market share.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing sales teams.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong understanding of distribution channels and customer relationship management in the FMCG market in Northern Ireland .
